Russia deploys 4 ships to Black Sea, 3 of which are missile carriers - Navy
As of 06:00 am on Friday, May 9, the aggressor country of russia has 4 ships on combat duty in the Black Sea, 3 of which are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 14 missiles, there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
The command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"There are 4 enemy ships in the Black Sea, 3 of which are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 14 missiles; there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov; there are 3 enemy ships in the Mediterranean Sea, 1 of which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 8 missiles," the message says.
Over the past day, the following vessels transited the Kerch Strait in the interests of the russian federation:
- to the Black Sea - 5 vessels, 3 of which continued their movement towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - 4 vessels, 2 of which continued its movement from the Bosphorus Strait.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 6-7, russia did not deploy its warships to the Black and Azov Seas.
