200 combat clashes take place at front during day, 78 of them in Pokrovsk Axis

On May 5, 200 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest Axes were Pokrovsk (78 clashes), Lyman (31) and Novopavlivsk (24).

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Over the past day, the enemy launched one missile and 80 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, using two missiles and dropping 175 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, the enemy carried out more than 6,100 shelling, 113 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 3,344 kamikaze drones for strikes.

On May 5, 200 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.

Thus, in the Kharkiv Axis, 4 clashes took place in the area of ​​the settlement of Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk Axis, 5 attacks of the invaders were repelled in the area of ​​Zahryzove and towards Novoosynove and Hlushkivka.

In the Lyman Axis, the enemy attacked 31 times near the settlements of Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Nove, Kolodiazi, Myrne, Torske and in the direction of Zelena Dolyna.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, 4 enemy attacks were repelled in the area of ​​Chasiv Yar, Kurdiumivka and in the direction of Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk Axis, the enemy carried out 6 attacks in the areas of Toretsk and Ozarianivka.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, 78 attacks of the aggressor were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Sukha Balka, Stara Mykolaivka, Vodiane Druhe, Novotoretsk, Shevchenko, Udachne, Uspenivka, Troitske, Kotliarivka, Bohdanivka and Andriyivka.

In the Novopavlivsk Axis, the Defense Forces repelled 24 enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Novopil, Novosilka, Pryvilne, Komar and towards Odradne.

In the Huliaipole Axis, 7 attacks were repelled in the Vysoke area.

In the Orikhiv Axis, 14 attacks were repelled near Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky, Kamyanske and towards Novoandriyivka and Novodanylivka.
In the Kursk Axis (RF), Ukrainian soldiers repelled 18 enemy attacks.

The russians carried out 330 artillery shelling here, 8 of them from MLRS, and carried out 12 air strikes, during which they dropped 27 guided aerial bombs.

In the Siversk and Prydniprovsk Axes, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations.

Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck 24 areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment, two command posts, five missile troops and artillery facilities, two air defense facilities and four other important enemy facilities.

The total losses of the russian invaders on May 5 amounted to 1,430 people.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 4, 269 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest Axes were Pokrovsk (115 clashes) and Novopavlivsk (52).
