Air defense downed 77 enemy drones out of 183 at night, another 73 were lost in location - AFU Air Force

On the night of Saturday, May 3, Ukrainian defenders shot down 77 attack drones of the Shahed type, as well as drones of other types launched by the russian occupiers, the Telegram channel of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

"As of 09:00 am, the shooting down of 77 attack UAVs of the Shahed type (drones of other types) in the east, north, south and center of the country was confirmed. 73 enemy simulator drones were lost in location (without negative consequences)," the message says.

In total, the occupiers attacked Ukraine at night with 183 UAVs, both attack and simulators. The enemy air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare equipment and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As a result of the enemy attack, the Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk and Mykolaiv Regions suffered.
