Trump's Special Envoy Keith Kellogg claims door to Ukraine in NATO closed

Ukraine will not become part of NATO and the issue of its accession is not under discussion.

The Special Envoy of US President Donald Trump, Keith Kellogg, has stated this.

"Let me give you one example. The example is that we've been very clear. NATO's off the table. You're not going to be part of NATO. That's something that's not new. We've been talking about that since 2008," he said, Fox News reports.

He recalled that that year, US Ambassador to russia William Burns told US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice that "this is an unattainable goal."
