AFU eliminate 1,530 occupiers and 48 units of armored vehicles. General Staff names losses of russia per day
The losses of the personnel of the russian troops for April 17 increased by 1,530 to 938,970 people, and the Ukrainian defenders over the past day destroyed 8 tanks, 40 armored combat vehicles, 88 artillery systems and 140 drones.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to April 18, 2025 are approximately:
- personnel - about 938,970 (+1,530) people eliminated;
- tanks - 10,662 (+8) units;
- armored combat vehicles - 22,257 (+40) units;
- artillery systems - 26,530 (+88) units;
- MLRS - 1,367 (+1) units;
- air defense systems - 1,136 (+1) units;
- aircraft - 370 units;
- helicopters - 335 units;
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 33,065 (+140) units;
- cruise missiles - 3,145 units;
- ships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and fuel tanks - 44,954 (+312) units;
- special equipment - 3,858 (+51) units
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the losses of russian troops on April 16 increased by 1,230 to 937,440 people, and equipment – by 16 tanks, 54 armored vehicles, and 65 artillery systems.
Meanwhile, the losses of russian troops on April 13 increased by 1,310 to 933,980 people, and equipment – by 19 tanks, 42 armored vehicles, 59 artillery systems, and 119 drones.
