We must put pressure on killers - Zelenskyy after russian drone attack on Dnipro
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the russian drone attack on the city of Dnipro on the night of April 17, calling on partners to put pressure on the aggressor.
He wrote about this on Facebook.
"It was a difficult night in Dnipro - a strike by russian drones. On ordinary houses, on ordinary civilian infrastructure. The rubble is being cleared. Currently, 16 people are in the city's hospitals, a total of 28 people were wounded, including four children. Everyone is being provided with assistance. Unfortunately, three people were killed by this russian strike, and among them is a girl, Veronika, she was only 17... My condolences to her family and friends," he said.
In addition, Zelenskyy informed that the russians had struck Odesa with a drone, as a result of which three people were injured, and houses, a pharmacy, and a church were damaged. The russian federation also struck the Sumy Region with aerial bombs, and russian ballistic missiles attacked the Kharkiv and Donetsk Regions.
"Every defense package of partners for Ukraine now, all forms of support for our stability by the world are literally the protection of lives. Russia uses every day and every night to kill. We must put pressure on the killers and help life in order to stop this war and guarantee a reliable peace," he stressed.
Zelenskyy thanked all partners who use their capabilities in this way: "Wars are stopped by force - force against the aggressor, force in the defense of life."
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the russian occupiers shelled the city of Dnipro with drones, damaging the buildings of a hostel, an educational institution, a food enterprise, and houses.
In particular, during a massive drone attack in Dnipro, one of the buildings and hostels of the Dnipro State Medical University was damaged.
