Revenues to Pension Fund increased, but authorities not to recalculate pensions - Yuzhanina
Revenues to the Pension Fund have increased due to revenues from the return of the single social contribution for small businesses, but the authorities do not intend to recalculate pensions.
This was stated in an interview with the Ukrainian News Agency by the Verkhovna Rada member from the European Solidarity faction, member of the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, Nina Yuzhanina.
"They obliged all individual entrepreneurs (of all groups) to pay the single social contribution for themselves. They also canceled the upper limit for the single social contribution for those with high salaries - they raised the bar. This led to an increase in revenues to the Pension Fund. Of course, no one is talking about recalculation of pensions at the same time," she explained.
According to her, an increase in revenues only means a decrease in subsidies from the state budget to the Pension Fund.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in Ukraine, as of April 1, 2025, the number of pensioners receiving a pension of up to UAH 3,000 is 3.9%, and those receiving a pension of more than UAH 10,000 is 14.5%.
The Cabinet of Ministers decided to index pensions by 11.5% from March.
