Sumy Regional Military Administration head admits that there was award ceremony for military in Sumy on April 13

The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Artiukh, actually admitted that on the day when the russian army struck the center of Sumy, there was supposed to be an award ceremony for the military. At the same time, he distanced himself from this event.

Artiukh stated this in a comment to Suspilne.

The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration emphasized that the award ceremony was not his initiative - he was invited there.

"There was no initiative on my part. I was invited," Artiukh said.

At the same time, he did not say who exactly invited him.

"That's another topic. I answered you," he said in response to a journalist's question.

Recall that 14 police officers were injured as a result of the russian missile attack on Sumy on April 13, and there are also dead and wounded employees of other services who were liquidating the consequences of the strike.

Currently, 38 people are being treated in the city's medical institutions.
