Revolut temporarily suspends registration of new customers from Ukraine

Revolut Bank UAB has temporarily suspended registration of new customers, who are residents of Ukraine.

Ukrainian News Agency was informed about this by Revolut Bank UAB.

"This does not affect our existing Ukrainian users - their accounts and services will continue to operate as usual. Ukrainians can join the waiting list while we work to restore the registration process," the message says.

It is also emphasized that Ukraine remains an important market for Revolut.

"As part of the Clear Sky charity campaign, together with UNHCR, we have already managed to raise over GBP 500,000 to support people in Ukraine. Revolut will also make an additional contribution of GBP 200,000," Revolut added.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, it was previously reported that the neobank Revolut officially launched its services in Ukraine, giving local users the opportunity to register accounts using Diia, Ukraine's digital identification system.

Subsequently, the National Bank of Ukraine reported that Revolut Bank had not received any permits from the NBU to operate in Ukraine.
