Elon Musk's family admired putin - billionaire's father
Elon Musk's family has always viewed russian dictator vladimir putin not as a dictator, but simply as a person for whom "it's hard not to feel respect."
The billionaire's father, Errol Musk, told the BBC in an interview.
He noted that people around him often try to convince others not to trust putin, but he himself considers him an example of a strong leader.
When a journalist noted that it was putin who unleashed the war in Ukraine, Errol replied that "only later will it be possible to understand who really started it." Errol continued to insist on this even when he was reminded that russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022 is a fact.
Elon Musk recalled in earlier interviews that as a child his father could yell at him for several hours. Now Errol Musk believes that such an "army" upbringing tempered the character of the future businessman. When asked if he ever felt ashamed of Elon, Errol replies that he was more worried about him.
Elon and Errol have many children from different women: Elder Mask has seven children, Musk Jr. probably has 14.
Errol assures that he always tried to pay equal attention to all his children. He criticizes his son for not taking care of some of the children in the past.
Errol Musk had an adopted daughter, Jana, who came to his family when she was 14. Later, Errol and Jana began a relationship. Their first child together was born when Jana was about 30 years old, and Errol was over 70. Because of this affair, father and son quarreled.
As a reminder, US President Donald Trump has warned that the head of the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Elon Musk, will be leaving his post in the coming weeks. The White House says they don't like his unpredictability.
