Kosiuk’s MHP suffers UAH 1.5 billion losses in 2024

In 2024, the loss of one of the largest poultry producers, MHP (Kyiv), amounted to UAH 1.459 billion against a loss of UAH 747.1 million in 2023.

This is stated in the company's financial report published on the analytical platform YouControl, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The report states that net income from sales of products (goods, works, services) in 2024 decreased by 8.8% compared to 2023 to UAH 46.793 billion.

It is noted that the company significantly increased labor costs by 43.2% to UAH 4.913 billion and other operating expenses by 34.6% to UAH 7.430 billion in 2024.

According to YouControl, the MHP company received a loss of UAH 1.626 billion in the pre-war year of 2021.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January-June 2024, MHP reduced its net profit by 33%, or by USD 22 million to USD 45 million compared to January-June 2023.

On February 2, 2021, the Myronivskyi Hliboproduct company officially changed its legal name to MHP.

MHP is a vertically integrated complex of enterprises producing chicken, hatching eggs, and feed, is engaged in crop production, cultivating 360,000 hectares of land, and produces chicken meat under the name "Our Riaba".
