IMF to consider allocating another tranche to Ukraine on March 28 - Zhelezniak

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) will consider allocating another tranche to Ukraine on March 28.

This was written by Yaroslav Zhelezniak, a member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Holos faction, in his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"A meeting of the IMF Board on Ukraine has been scheduled for March 28. It will be the seventh review," he wrote.

At the same time, no management meetings have been scheduled on the IMF website for March 28.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal expects a tranche of USD 400 million from the International Monetary Fund based on the results of the 7th review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF), and not USD 900 million, as previously planned, because Ukraine has enough funds.

Ukraine planned to attract USD 2.7 billion from the IMF in 2025 based on the results of four quarterly reviews.
