3 people killed, 12 injured in Zaporizhzhia in nighttime enemy attack

As of 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, two people were killed and 13 more people were injured as a result of a nighttime attack by russian drones on Zaporizhzhia.

The State Emergency Service has announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that as a result of enemy strikes, fires broke out in the city, residential buildings were destroyed, public buildings and transport were damaged.

One woman is in extremely serious condition, 6 more victims received moderate injuries.

Rescuers evacuated a 17-year-old girl, but her injuries were incompatible with life.

A man was rescued from the rubble, who was promptly provided with medical assistance.

The body of another person was also found with no signs of life.

Later, the State Emergency Service reported that, according to updated information as of 9 a.m., the number of people killed in the attack had increased to 3 people, including 1 child.

Medics fought for the life of a 38-year-old woman, but, unfortunately, they could not save her.

Another 12 people were injured, including one child.

Search and rescue operations at the sites of enemy strikes have been completed.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 20, russian occupiers shelled the Zaporizhzhia Region 492 times, causing the destruction of residential buildings in 12 settlements, and 6 civilians were injured.
