Zelenskyy announces conversation with Trump on Wednesday

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced his conversation with US President Donald Trump on Wednesday, March 19, about Trump's talks with the leader of the aggressor country, russia, vladimir putin, and further steps by the parties to achieve peace.

Zelenskyy announced this during a joint meeting with the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, with media representatives, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Without us, it is impossible to end this war with a just peace. Today I will have contact with President Trump. Today we will discuss the details with him. I think the details of the next steps. We really had a very good meeting of our teams in Jeddah. I think everything went well, if not for russia, which is always not happy when something goes right," he said.

Zelenskyy noted that he expects to hear from Trump the details of his conversation with putin on March 18 and further steps by the parties to achieve peace.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Trump called his conversation with russian dictator vladimir putin on March 18 "good" and "productive."

In particular, according to Trump, they agreed on an immediate ceasefire at all energy and infrastructure facilities and discussed many elements of a peace agreement.
