Russia using strategy of prolonging war in Ukraine and does not want ceasefire - Finnish President

Finnish President Alexander Stubb believes that the aggressor country of russia is trying to play a protracted game in Ukraine and does not want a ceasefire or peace.

This is reported by Yle.

"Putin does not want a ceasefire, a truce or peace. His main goal - the destruction of the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine - has not changed," Stubb said.

In addition, Stubb reported that a coalition of about 30 countries is currently being formed that are ready to support Ukraine in its fight against russian aggression.

"Britain and France are playing a strong leadership role, and everyone has a clear picture: Ukraine wants peace and a ceasefire, and russia does not," Stubb added.

As a reminder, Stubb previously said that Finland and Norway are participating in the preparation of a peace plan for Ukraine.
