"Reformer" Musk cancels funding for team rescuing Ukrainian children abducted by russia - media
Elon Musk's massive cuts to US government funding have halted the work of a Yale University team that helped rescue hundreds of Ukrainian children abducted by russia.
This is reported by the portal of the British publication Mirror.
Until now, the US government had funded a group of researchers from Yale University's Humanitarian Research Lab, who used open-source technology to track missing children and shared their findings with Ukrainian authorities to help return them home.
Thanks to their efforts, hundreds of children have returned home - but now this work will stop due to Elon Musk's recent cuts to federal funding.
