Massive UAV attack on Ukraine. Air defense forces shoot down 130 of 176 enemy drones at night

On the night of Monday, March 10, russian troops launched 176 strike drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 130 of them, another 42 drones did not reach their targets (lost in location).

The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of March 10 (from 6 p.m. on March 9), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 176 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Shatalovo, Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all – russia) and Cape Chauda (Crimea).

"As of 8 a.m., it has been confirmed that 130 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones have been shot down in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson Regions. 42 enemy simulator drones have been lost in location (without negative consequences)," the report says.

The Kharkiv, Poltava and Kyiv Regions were affected by the russian attack.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of March 8, the russians launched 3 missiles of various types and 145 attack UAVs over Ukraine, air defense forces shot down a cruise missile and 79 drones, 54 UAVs were lost in location.

Meanwhile, Syrskyi reported that in February, the Armed Forces of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces hit and destroyed 22% more enemy targets compared to January.
