Russia complains about drone attack on oil refinery in Leningrad Oblast

The russian authorities have announced that drones attacked an oil refinery in the Leningrad Oblast.

This was reported by the governor of the russian Leningrad Oblast, Aleksander Drozdenko.

"A drone attack on KINEF in the Kirishi district was repelled. Air defense forces shot down one drone on approach, and the other was destroyed over the territory of the enterprise," the official stated.

When the debris fell, the external structure of one of the enterprise's tanks was damaged, "the consequences have been eliminated," the governor reported.

KINEF (Kirishinefteorgsintez) is an oil refinery in the city of Kirishi in the Leningrad Oblast.

Drones already attacked this facility a year ago.
