2 people killed, 2 more injured in night UAV attack on Kyiv Region

On the night of Wednesday, February 26, two people were killed and two were injured in a hostile drone attack on the Kyiv Region.

The Kyiv Regional Military Administration and the Prosecutor General's Office announced this on their Telegram channels, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

According to the Regional Military Administration, the bodies of two victims of the shelling were discovered during the dismantling of the rubble of a two-story private house in the Bucha District; a russian drone hit the house, causing a fire.

In another settlement in the district, a girl born in 2005 received a wound to the back of the head, she was provided with all necessary medical care in the hospital, she is currently receiving outpatient treatment.

A man born in 1981 received a wound to his right hand from a piece of glass.

At the same time, damage was recorded in four settlements.

Thus, in the Bucha District, the following were damaged:

- nine private houses;

- glazing of apartments in four multi-storey residential buildings;

- 4 garages;

- glazing of windows of two enterprises;

- three cars were destroyed and 15 were damaged.

Garages and two cars were also damaged in the Fastiv District.

According to Ukrinform, the deceased was Ukrinform journalist Tetiana Kulyk, author and host of the "Nation of the Invincible" project, who served as an editor-in-chief of the Multimedia Main Editorial Office.

According to sources, her husband Pavlo Ivanchov, head of the Department of Surgery No. 3 of the Bohomolets National Medical University, also died.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of Wednesday, February 26, russian troops launched 177 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 110 drones, another 66 UAVs did not reach their targets (lost in location).
