Trump not against sending peacekeepers to Ukraine and believes putin not against it either
U.S. President Donald Trump has supported the potential deployment of European troops in Ukraine and promises to support this process.
He stated this during a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.
"As soon as an agreement is signed, they can observe whether everything is being implemented properly. I don't think that will be a problem," he said.
Trump promised that the United States will support European troops in Ukraine, but did not specify how.
In addition, he believes that putin will be against European peacekeepers on the territory of Ukraine.
"I don't think that will be a problem. As soon as an agreement is signed, Russia will return to its own affairs, and Ukraine and Europe will return to theirs," Trump said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Donald Trump also said that he is negotiating with russian dictator vladimir putin regarding the end of the war he started in Ukraine.
According to American media, Ukraine and the United States are working together to finalize a minerals agreement this week.
