Zelenskyy flies to Türkiye to meet with Erdoğan

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy began an official visit to Türkiye together with First Lady Olena Zelenska.

This is stated in a message on the Facebook page of the head of state on Monday, February 17.

Head of the Communications Directorate of the Turkish Presidential Administration Fahrettin Altun wrote on his X-account that Zelenskyy and Erdoğan will consider the issue of strategic partnership between Ukraine and Türkiye and cooperation between the two countries.

"During the visit, they will also exchange views on the latest developments in Ukraine and other regional and global issues," Altun noted.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on February 17, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he would not participate in the negotiations between the aggressor country russia and the United States in Saudi Arabia.
