10 Patriot missiles worth USD 30 million were used to shoot down 6 ballistic missiles at night.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this before the start of the meeting with U.S. Secretary of Defense Scott Bessent.
"We used 6 ballistic missiles, 10 Patriot missiles worth USD 30 million," Zelenskyy told reporters.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Air Force previously informed that on the night of February 12, the Defense Forces shot down six ballistic missiles during a massive shelling of Ukraine.
The military noted that at night, russian troops struck Kyiv and Kryvyi Rih with Iskander-M ballistic missiles (S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles). Six launches were carried out from the Bryansk Oblast and one from the temporarily occupied Crimea.
On the night of February 12, a series of powerful explosions were heard in Kyiv — russia struck the city with ballistic missiles. Falling debris was recorded in the Holosiivskyi, Solomianskyi, Obolonskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi Districts of the city. At least one person was killed, three more were injured.
Earlier it became known that the office of the ATR TV channel was damaged by a missile strike on Kyiv.
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, reported that in Kyiv the number of victims of the russian shelling with Iskander-M missiles has increased to four people, including a child, one person was killed. The attack caused damage to residential buildings, office buildings, and non-residential infrastructure in the Holosiivskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Obolonskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Pecherskyi Districts.
