Russia bans sale of vital medicines and issuance of pensions to persons in occupation without russian passport - Defense Intelligence

In 2025, the russian occupation regime ordered a ban on the sale of vital medicines in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to persons who have not received a passport of the aggressor state of russia, including insulin.

This was reported by the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Thus, the occupiers initiated the corresponding order within the framework of the process of forced passportization of the population of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. In particular, insulin and thyroid medications fell under the ban.

In addition, the male population in the occupation is under constant pressure from the russian federation and the threat of forced mobilization into the russian occupation army.

"The situation in the occupied territories of Ukraine illustrates the systematic violation by the aggressor state of russia of the norms of international law and the continuation of its criminal genocidal policy towards the Ukrainian people," the Defense Intelligence emphasized.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, several cases of mysterious disappearances of single pensioners have been recorded in the temporarily occupied Mariupol of the Donetsk Region since September 2024. The apartments of at least three of them have passed to new owners.

Earlier, the russian occupier took a Ukrainian woman from the Kharkiv Region, settled her in his house in Belgorod, raped her and illegally held her for a year.
