Spokesperson of AFU Air Force Command leaving his post

The Head of the Public Relations Service of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major Illia Yevlash, announced his resignation, he reported on his Facebook page.

"The time has come to say "goodbye", my Air Force. For me, this period of life was truly unforgettable. Here I made new friends, here we did many useful things, here I fell in love with the Air Force," Yevlash wrote.

In his post, the officer thanked everyone who "was there, helped, supported, and even those who wished to fall." He also noted that "it's time to move on."

Yevlash did not disclose the reasons for his decision and further plans.

Major Illia Yevlash has held the position of spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since March 2024.

As previously reported, in 2024, the spokesman for the press center of the Southern Defense Forces, Captain 3rd Rank Dmytro Pletenchuk, resigned.
