Kellogg's plan is a failure if it consists only of ceasefire - Zelenskyy's advisor
If the plan to end the war, which US President Donald Trump's special envoy to Ukraine and the russian federation Keith Kellogg spoke about, consists only of a ceasefire, then it is a failure plan.
This was written by the advisor to the President of Ukraine Dmytro Lytvyn in his X-account on Sunday, February 2.
Lytvyn noted that the aggressor country of russia is increasing the production of missiles and ammunition, it manages to circumvent sanctions and make money on oil. According to him, the military alliance between the russian federation and North Korea does not provide for a ceasefire.
"We haven’t seen Mr. Kellogg’s full interview, only a few quotes about the elections, so it’s hard to fully assess his position. But if his plan is just a ceasefire and elections, it is a failed plan - putin won’t be intimidated by just those two things," Lytvyn wrote.
The presidential advisor stressed that Ukraine wants to see a "more in-depth approach" and pressure on the russian dictator to move to a concrete plan to end the war and establish a lasting peace.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 1, US President Donald Trump's special envoy to Ukraine and the russian federation, Keith Kellogg, said that the new American leader has a "reliable plan" to end russia's war against Ukraine.
On February 1, Trump said that his administration has already held "very serious" discussions with russia regarding its war in Ukraine.
On February 3, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is closer to peace than ever during these three years of war.
