Russian combined strike on Ukraine on February 1: Air Defense destroyed 56 attack drones, there are ballistic hits

On the night of February 1, 2025, the russian occupiers carried out a combined strike on Ukraine with missiles of various types of air, sea and land-based, as well as Shahed-type strike UAVs and other types of simulator drones. According to preliminary data, 56 attack UAVs of various types were shot down, another 61 drones did not reach their targets, there are hits with missiles that approach the target along a ballistic trajectory.

This is stated in the report of the Air Forces command on Telegram.

It is reported that in total, the Air Forces’ radio-technical troops detected and tracked 165 enemy air targets:

The Air Forces reported that, according to preliminary data, 56 Shahed attack UAVs/simulator drones of various types were shot down, another 61 UAVs did not reach their targets (lost in location).

Part of the enemy cruise missiles was destroyed by air defense.

A significant part of the missiles, due to the active countermeasures of the Defense Forces, did not reach their targets. However, there are also hits, in particular by missiles that approach the target along a ballistic trajectory.

"We are not yet making detailed information about the enemy missiles public," the Air Forces noted.

Anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare equipment, and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the russian air attack.
