Explosion occurs in territory of territorial recruitment and social support center in Rivne, one person killed

An explosion occurred in a territorial recruitment and social support center in Rivne. Special services, the State Emergency Service and the police are already on the scene.

This is reported by the local publication "Rayon.Rivne".

The incident occurred on February 1 at approximately 4:20 p.m. Three ambulances also arrived at the scene. The explosion broke out windows, the road near the scene of the incident is closed to traffic.

As of 5 p.m., around the site of the explosion in Rivne, traffic and access for all passers-by were restricted.

The National Police of Ukraine also commented on the extraordinary event on Telegram.

"The event occurred today at 4:15 p.m. in the premises of the territorial recruitment and social support center, an explosion occurred. One person is known to have been killed, six more were injured," the message says.

Currently, the investigative and operational group, SSU employees, and other emergency services are working at the scene.
