Finance Ministry places loan bonds for UAH 6.2 billion
On January 28, the Ministry of Finance placed domestic government loan bonds for UAH 6.2 billion.
This is stated in the notification of the Ministry of Finance, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Securities with a maturity of 1.4 years for UAH 368 million at 15.35% per annum, 2.4 years for UAH 164 million at 16.70% per annum, 4 years for UAH 5.7 million at 13.92% per annum were placed.
On November 8, 2022, the Ministry of Finance issued war bonds for UAH 43.7 million, which is the smallest amount since the beginning of the war.
Before this, the smallest amount was involved on October 4, 2022 - UAH 44.5 million.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Ministry of Finance previously announced that war bonds are primarily a tool for supporting the state budget during a full-scale invasion of the russian federation, and not a tool for maximizing income from investment activities, therefore war bond rates remain fixed.
