In Luhansk Region, 100 people live without water and gas in village occupied by russians
In the village of Toshkivka in the occupied part of the Luhansk Region, people have been living without water, gas and electricity for almost three years. Including children.
This was reported by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Artem Lysohor.
The russians occupied Toshkivka in the spring of 2022. Then about 100 people lived there, a tenth of them were children. Before the russian invasion, the population of the village was about 4,000 people.
"The village has been without gas, water and electricity for almost three years. The russians are not going to restore the settlement, which was half-destroyed during the assault. The locals live in damaged houses, which they heat on their own," Lysohor noted.
A regular bus comes to Toshkivka once a week.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, starting in 2025, Ukrainians who are in the temporarily occupied territories without a passport of the aggressor country have lost all rights. In particular, without a russian passport, it is now impossible to obtain vital medicines.
