Air defense forces shoot down 78 enemy UAVs at night, 31 drones lost in location
On the night of Monday, January 13, russian troops launched 110 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 78 of them, another 31 UAVs did not reach their targets (lost in location).
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of January 13 (from 7 p.m. on January 12), the enemy attacked with 110 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Millerovo, Oryol, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all – russia).
"As of 9 a.m., it has been confirmed that 78 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones have been shot down in the Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi and Donetsk Regions. 31 enemy simulator drones have been lost in location (without negative consequences)," the message says.
Due to the fall of the downed enemy drones in the Sumy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr and Zaporizhzhia Regions, there is damage to buildings of enterprises, private and state institutions, private houses and vehicles.
According to preliminary data, there were no casualties, the consequences are being eliminated.
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of January 11, the russians launched 74 drones over the territory of Ukraine, the air defense forces managed to shoot down 47 of them, another 27 UAVs did not reach their targets (lost in location).
On the night of Monday, January 13, the DeepState analytical project announced the advance of the army of the aggressor country, the russian federation, near eight settlements in the Donetsk Region.
