Johnson curses putin: "There is no more empire, Vladimir, you f***ing idiot!"
Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson sharply addressed russian dictator vladimir putin, reminding him that there is no more russian empire, and called him a "f***ing idiot."
He said this in an interview with the Latvian publication Delfi.
"What is this? Is Ukraine part of the West or part of the Russian sphere of influence? The most important message to Putin should be that Russia is no longer an empire — it’s over… What Putin is doing is archaic and barbaric. Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, none of these countries are part of the Russian empire anymore, and the same applies to Ukraine. It’s over. There is no more empire, Vladimir, you f***ing idiot! Excuse the expression. But that’s how it is," he said.
Johnson pointed out that while the United Kingdom used to have an empire, it is now almost entirely gone. He noted that the British Empire was seven times the size of the Roman Empire and the largest empire in history, but said the UK was happy with its post-imperialist role.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Johnson previously stated that vladimir putin would not have invaded Ukraine if Donald Trump had been the U.S. president.
