The number of wounded as a result of the russian attack on Zaporizhzhia on January 8 has increased to 127 - four more people have sought medical help.

This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

"127 wounded, 74 hospitalized - the number of victims as a result of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia is growing. Four more people have sought help from doctors in the regional center after the attack on the city, which occurred on January 8," the report says.

Thus, the number of hospitalized people has increased to 74, of which 12 are in serious condition.

Earlier, Fedorov called the russian attack on the city on January 8 the largest since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, where such a large number of victims were recorded at the same time.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 8, at around 3:40 p.m., russian occupier aircraft struck the Shevchenkivskyi district of Zaporizhzhia. The city's industrial infrastructure came under fire.

The police reported that the strike was carried out by two 500-kilogram FAB-500 bombs equipped with planning and correction modules. Both bombs hit a crowd of people.

As a result of the airstrike, a fire broke out in an office building. The fire spread to an area of ​​800 square meters before it was extinguished. Three cars also burned down. In addition, three administrative buildings, a residential apartment building, and 36 vehicles were damaged.
