AFU eliminate 1,430 invaders, 33 armored vehicles and 86 drones. General Staff names losses of russia per day

As of the morning of January 9, the army of the aggressor country, the russian federation, lost 1,430 soldiers, 86 drones and 16 armored combat vehicles at the front.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported this.

The total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 01/09/25 are approximately:

• personnel - about 803,100 (+1,430) people eliminated;
• tanks - 9,731 (+17) units;
• armored combat vehicles - 20,221 (+16) units;
• artillery systems - 21,765 (+36) units;
• MLRS - 1,260 units;
• air defense systems – 1,038 units;
• aircraft - 369 units;
• helicopters - 331 units;
• operational-tactical level UAVs - 21,813 (+86) units;
• cruise missiles – 3,014 units;
• ships/boats - 28 units;
• submarines - 1 unit;
• motor vehicles and fuel tanks - 33,387 (+80) units;
• special equipment – 3,686 (+5) units.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the losses of russian troops on January 5 increased by 1,550 to 798,040, equipment - by 14 tanks, 45 armored vehicles and 62 artillery systems.
