The Writers' House was damaged due to the russian drone attack on January 1.

This was reported by the National Union of Writers of Ukraine.

It is noted that almost no windows remained intact in the building.

"As already reported in the Ukrainian media and on social networks, as a result of the attack by racist Shaheds on the morning of January 1, the Writers' House of Ukraine was damaged: almost all windows were broken, the facade was partially damaged, as well as some offices inside the building. Fortunately, there were no casualties," the report says.

Let us recall that on New Year's Eve, russia attacked Ukraine with 111 drones. As a result of the falling debris of the downed drones, objects in the Pecherskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts of the city were damaged.

During the attack by russian drones on the Pecherskyi district of Kyiv, the famous Ukrainian neurobiologist Ihor Zyma and his wife, biologist Olesia Sokur, were tragically killed.

In addition, the wreckage of the drone fell on one of the buildings of the National Bank of Ukraine.
