SSU sea drones "keep afloat" Ukrainian economy - Holobutskyi
The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) sea drones "keep afloat" the Ukrainian economy: thanks to the effective containment of the russian federation in the Black Sea, ports have increased export volumes by 70% in a year.
This is what political scientist Oleksii Holobutskyi writes about.
The expert believes that without the sea corridor, the state would not be able to export products through its ports, which would stop many factories and agricultural production. "Ukraine controls its own exports and imports and does not depend on other countries. In addition, the route provided by sea drones allows us to transport not only agricultural products, as was the case during the "Grain Agreement" with the Kremlin, but also other cargoes. For example, now our state can export ore cargoes, the volume of which has increased to 16.7 million tons compared to 3.2 million tons in 2023. I can guarantee: if there were no sea corridor, the entire iron ore and metallurgical industry would be in Ukraine," Holobutskyi emphasizes.
The political scientist emphasizes that the SSU's sea drones have radically changed the situation on the Black Sea. "Russia, which considered itself the master in the region, now does not control the situation. All enemy warships are under the sights of drones, and therefore cannot stop the work of our sea corridor. I would like to note that thanks to the constant development and improvement of new types of weapons, Maliuk's subordinates are always one step ahead. As soon as the russians think that they have adapted to the tactics of the Service and sea drones, a new, unexpected blow follows, for which the enemy is not prepared," the expert is confident.
"In conditions of war, the domestic economy has more than enough problems. High risks significantly complicate both current work and strategic planning. But one should also understand the dangers that Ukraine was able to avoid. The stable operation of the sea corridor, which is guarded by the SSU sea drones, is a key factor in our economic stability," Holobutskyi summarizes.
As a reminder, it was previously reported that the Security Service of Ukraine first struck russian helicopters and planes with naval drones.
