Sanctions were also imposed on the companies 2Rivers and Coral Energy. They are registered in Singapore and Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and carried out activities related to the russian energy sector.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in October 2024, it became known that russia had expanded its "shadow fleet" of tankers for transporting oil to circumvent Western sanctions.

Recall that earlier the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published a list of almost 250 vessels that the russian federation uses to transport oil.

And the day before, the media published satellite images showing russian tankers spilling oil into the ocean.
