Russians have no chance to capture Kupyansk - City Military Administration

The russian occupiers have no chance to capture Kupyansk, the Defense Forces are destroying the russian troops that are being thrown to capture the city.

This was stated by the head of the City Military Administration, Andrii Besedin, Espreso reports.

"Let's be frank: the enemy had plans even before the New Year 2022 to capture the city. It is already 2024, and the plans are still there, but when you talk to our boys and girls, when you see their mood, their motivation, you understand that the russians have no chance - neither before the New Year nor after," Besedin emphasized.

According to the head of the Kupyansk City Military Administration, the russians are throwing significant forces to capture the city, but these forces are being destroyed by the Defense Forces.

"All military units that are on the contact line and directly defend the Kupyansk area, in particular the Achilles strike UAVs battalion, are heroic boys and girls who destroy a large number of enemy equipment and manpower," Besedin added.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 4, the russian occupiers tried to break through to Kupyansk (Kharkiv Region). Several units of equipment and infantry attempted to break through, and were destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.

The russian occupiers have increased the intensity of strikes on civilian objects in the city of Kupyansk. Despite the increased shelling, people refuse to leave Kupyansk. The pace of evacuation from the city has slowed down.
