Zelenskyy and Scholz inspect latest models of drones created in cooperation with Germany
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz inspected the latest models of drones created in cooperation with German companies in Kyiv.
It was reported by the Office of the President, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Zelenskyy and Scholz inspected the latest models of products with automatic target detection and engagement systems, including UAVs, FPV drones, ground robotic complexes, and a "drone swarm" control system.
The exhibition featured domestically produced drones, as well as drones created in Ukraine in cooperation with German companies. In particular, one of the drones used automatic target guidance systems with artificial intelligence produced by German companies, and another drone is the result of the work of a localized German company, which opened a center in Ukraine for the production and maintenance of already delivered equipment.
Representatives of manufacturing companies told Zelenskyy and Scholz about the characteristics of air and ground unmanned systems, as well as the features of their application.
They were also shown examples of the combat use of domestic weapons with computer vision, automatic targeting and re-guidance systems.
In addition, Scholz and Zelenskyy visited wounded servicemen in Kyiv and honored the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine near the national memorial of national memory on Maidan Nezalezhnosti.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Scholz arrived in Kyiv on Monday, December 2, with an unannounced visit and announced the provision of a new package of military support to Ukraine for EUR 650 million in December.
