Defense Intelligence drones capable of hitting targets at distance of 2,000 kilometers
Ukrainian drones, launched by operators of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, can hit targets at a distance of up to 2,000 kilometers.
The commander of the group of long-range UAV operators of the Defense Intelligence, has stated this, Donbas.Realii reports.
Thus, it is reported that journalists of the project recently witnessed the launch of the Liutyi drones, which took place in the dark. A few hours after the drones took off, footage of a fire in the area of the Saratov Oil Refinery in russia appeared on the network - more than 600 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
The Defense Intelligence fighters also said that their work has changed significantly since they began to perform such operations.
"We are the group that first launched almost all long-range drones. We started with something small, now we are hitting targets at 2,000 km - this is an extraordinary change. Adapting is not difficult. In principle, all drones are quite simple. Our personnel undergo regular training. Manufacturers assist us, conduct it quite actively and quickly," said the group commander.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, previously unknown drones attacked three regions of russia, an oil depot caught fire in the Belgorod Oblast.
On November 10, the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit an ammunition depot in the Bryansk Oblast of the aggressor country, russia.
On November 6, the Kramatorsk border detachment showed how it had set up its own production and equipment of drones to defeat the russian occupiers.
