SSU detains Mykolaiv regional heat and power company employee who corrected russian strikes on city

Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) detained another FSB informant who was preparing coordinates for a new series of missile and drone strikes by the aggressor country russia on Mykolaiv.

The SSU press-service has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

As reported, the russian agent turned out to be a 43-year-old technician of the local regional heat and power company. He came to the "attention" of the occupiers through his pro-russian comments on Telegram channels.

After the FSB briefing, the attacker began to scout the places of the largest concentration of personnel and military equipment of the Defense Forces. To identify potential "targets", the FSB agent traveled around the city and surrounding areas in his own car and covertly recorded objects where, in his opinion, Ukrainian defenders could be.

The attacker also tried to "secretly" ask for the information he needed from his colleagues and acquaintances under the guise of everyday conversations.

Cyber specialists of the Security Service exposed the FSB agent, documented his crimes and detained him at his place of residence. At the same time, comprehensive measures were taken to secure the locations of the Defense Forces.

During the searches, a mobile phone with an installed Telegram channel, through which he "communicated" with the FSB, was seized from the detainee.
