Ukraine and IMF agree at expert level on 6th review of EFF program
Ukraine and IMF have agreed at expert level on the sixth review of the Program within the framework of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF).
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
This will allow attracting another USD 1.1 billion to the state budget.
"We expect that the IMF Executive Board will adopt a relevant decision in the near future. The Fund noted our progress in fulfilling structural beacons and commitments. They also emphasized that the Ukrainian economy continues to demonstrate resilience," Shmyhal wrote.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 11, the International Monetary Fund Mission began work in Kyiv on the 6th review of the Extended Fund Facility.
In April, the state budget of Ukraine received the second tranche of transitional financing in the amount of EUR 1.5 billion in accordance with the European Union's Ukraine Facility instrument.
In July, Ukraine received USD 2.2 billion from the International Monetary Fund.
At the end of October, Ukraine received another tranche from the International Monetary Fund in the amount of USD 1.1 billion.
