Energy Ministry urges Ukrainians not to disclose information about energy system

Due to the intensification of massive attacks on energy infrastructure, the Ministry of Energy asked Ukrainians not to disclose information related to the energy system.

The press service of the Ministry of Energy has announced this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

In particular, the Ministry urges not to publish photos, videos or any data regarding the consequences of the strikes; do not disclose information about the objects of attacks, damage, hits or recoveries; do not discuss potential hits, energy maps, or object status.

"This applies to everyone: authorities, enterprises, media representatives, Telegram channels, social networks and every citizen. The disclosure of such information exposes the country to serious danger. The enemy uses this data to coordinate new attacks," the message reads.

It is emphasized that the Ministry of Energy provides the society with the minimum necessary information for security reasons.

The department also noted that the energy industry is doing everything possible to keep the system stable and return the light to Ukrainians.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Ukrenergo national energy company informed that on November 18, stabilizing power outages operate in all regions of Ukraine.

The reason for the temporary return of restrictions is damage to energy facilities during a massive missile and drone attack on November 17.
