Defense Ministry allows Zubr armored vehicle of high cross-country ability to be used in AFU

The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved the Zubr four-wheel-drive armored car with increased cross-country ability for use in units of the Defense Forces.

This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is noted that this armored vehicle is multifunctional and distinguished by mobility, maneuverability and compact dimensions.

Thanks to the strengthened independent suspension and driving characteristics, the car can move at high speeds through difficult terrain and overcome water obstacles. The armor and structure protects the crew from small arms and minimizes injuries in case of explosions.

The armored car can be equipped with additional weapons systems, used for transporting personnel and evacuating the wounded.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in November, the Ministry of Defense also put into operation the Pernach remote fire control module and the domestic UAT-TISA armored car.
