Estonia announces new military aid package to Ukraine

Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur announced a new package of military aid to Ukraine. It will include, in particular, clothing and firearms.

The Minister wrote about this on the X social network.

"I met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and confirmed our continued military support for Ukraine. On the way to his office, I also electronically signed a new package of military aid with clothing, small arms, etc. The new packages will arrive next year (0.25) % of GDP of Estonia)" the Minister of Defense emphasized.

Zelenskyy thanked Pevkur for the new aid package.

He also reminded that Shahed recently hit the building where the Estonian Ambassador to Ukraine lives. According to him, this is another sign that pressure on russia needs to be increased to limit its military production.

"We separately discussed the possibilities of the Estonian side to finance the production of long-range drones in Ukraine and our urgent defense needs and assistance for the completion of new brigades," Zelenskyy added.

It will be recalled that during the shelling on November 7, a russian drone hit the house in Kyiv where the Estonian Ambassador to Ukraine Anneli Kolk lives, she was not injured.
