AFU destroy 1,580 invaders, 58 armored vehicles and 118 drones over day. General Staff names russia’s losses

As of the morning of November 8, the losses of the army of the aggressor country of the russian federation amounted to 1,580 soldiers. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down 118 drones and hit 49 armored fighting vehicles.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 08.11.24 approximately amounted to:

• personnel - about 705,880 (+1,580) persons were eliminated;
• tanks – 9,233 (+9) units;
• armored fighting vehicles – 18,661 (+49) units;
• artillery systems – 20,226 (+32) units;
• MLRS – 1,245 units;
• air defense equipment - 996 units;
• aircraft – 369 units;
• helicopters – 329 units;
• UAVs of operational-tactical level – 18,526 (+118) units;
• cruise missiles – 2,631 units;
• ships/boats - 28 units;
• submarines – 1 unit;
• motor vehicles and tank trucks - 28,495 (+84) units;
• special equipment – 3,602 (+6) units.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the losses of russian troops on November 6 increased by 1,400 to 704,300 people, and Ukrainian defenders destroyed 10 tanks, 20 armored fighting vehicles and 24 artillery systems.
