"We will work together to bring a just peace closer" - Sybiha on Trump's victory in US election

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha, commenting on the victory of Donald Trump in the presidential election in the United States of America, said that both countries will work on strengthening partnership and bringing a just peace closer.

"President Zelenskyy and President Trump have a long-standing, constructive, and result-oriented dialogue. We will work together to strengthen the Ukraine-US strategic partnership and bring a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace closer. We rely on America’s decisive leadership," the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry wrote on his X account (formerly - Twitter).

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in the race for the post of the President of the United States of America. Zelenskyy called Trump's victory "impressive" and emphasized that he was waiting for the opportunity to personally congratulate Trump.

Besides, Donald Trump said that during his term he is going to end all wars, including in Ukraine.
