Drone attacks base port of russian Navy ships in russian Caspian Sea

In the russian city of Kaspiysk (Dagestan), a drone attacked the port where ships of the russian Navy are based.

The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Defense and Security Council of Ukraine Andrii Kovalenko and open russian sources on Telegram announced this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"A port was attacked in Russian Kaspiysk. There are ships of the Russian Navy in Kaspiysk," Kovalenko wrote.

The head of the Republic of Dagestan, Sergey Melikov, also wrote about the attack by UAVs on the port in Kaspiysk.

The Astra Telegram channel also reported on the attack on the main base of the Caspian Flotilla of the russian Navy.

According to data from open sources, the operation of the airport in the Dagestan capital of Makhachkala has been temporarily suspended.

Russian sources close to the security forces suggested that the attack could have been carried out by a Ukrainian A-22 "Flying Fox" drone.

According to the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security Council of Ukraine, the distance from Kaspiysk to the nearest territory controlled by Ukraine is more than a thousand kilometers.
