Rada almost doubled salaries in Accounting Chamber
The Verkhovna Rada almost doubled the salaries of members of the Accounting Chamber.
Yaroslav Zhelezniak, a member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Holos faction, announced this in his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News reports.
A total of 240 MPs voted for the bill No. 10044-d with the minimum required 226.
The following salaries of employees of the Accounting Chamber are established in accordance with the amount of the living wage established for able-bodied persons on January 1 of the calendar year:
- Head of the Accounting Chamber - 55 (UAH 166,500);
- Deputy Head of the Accounting Chamber - 50 (UAH 151,400);
- another member of the Accounting Chamber - 48 (UAH 145,300);
- Secretary of the Accounting Chamber - 40 (UAH 121,100);
- Deputy Secretary of the Accounting Chamber - 36 (UAH 109,000).
At the same time, the salaries of the employees of the Accounting Chamber will consist not only of the salary, but also of additional payments for years of service, for work involving access to state secrets, as well as bonuses (the amount cannot exceed 30 percent of the official salary).
Prior to the adoption of the bill, the salary of the employees of the Accounting Chamber in accordance with the amount of the subsistence minimum established for able-bodied persons on January 1 of the calendar year:
- Head of the Accounting Chamber - 30 (UAH 90,800);
- Deputy Head of the Accounting Chamber - 27 (UAH 81,700);
- another member of the Accounting Chamber - 25 (UAH 75,700).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada introduced a competition for the selection of new members of the Accounting Chamber with the preferential voting rights of international experts.
