Russian troops launch missile attack on Dnipro at night, 3 people killed and 20 injured
On the night of Saturday, October 26, the russian army of occupation launched a missile attack on the city of Dnipro, resulting in the death of three people, including one child, and the injury of 20 people, including four children.
Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Around 11:30 p.m., the head of the Regional Military Administration reported that the enemy launched a missile attack on the city of Dnipro - residential buildings were damaged, and a fire broke out.
In particular, due to the hit, a two-story residential building was partially destroyed, from under the rubble of which rescuers pulled out one person.
"Three people were killed in Dnipro, among them a child. 19 injured, four of them children. Eight were hospitalized," Lysak wrote.
Later, he reported that 20 victims were already known, among them four children: girls aged 8 and 16 and two 17-year-old boys.
According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, as a result of the missile attack, there is destruction in several locations in the city at once.
A two-story residential building and a garage were destroyed, hospital buildings, 13 apartment buildings and 2 private houses, as well as 30 cars were damaged.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also commented on the overnight enemy strikes on Ukraine.
In particular, he reported that one of the most important hospitals in Ukraine – the Mechnykov Regional Clinical Hospital, as well as ordinary residential buildings – were damaged in Dnipro.
"Unfortunately, three people were killed, including a child," the President wrote on his Telegram channel.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the evening of October 25 and during the night, russian troops again attacked Kyiv with attack drones, in the Solomianskyi District, an enemy drone hit a high-rise building, as a result of which a teenage girl was killed, and six more people were injured.
