Zakarpattia Prosecutor's Office first deputy head Kosei issues pension at age of 45
Ivan Kosei, the first deputy head of the Zakarpattia Prosecutor's Office, became a pensioner during the war.
This is evidenced by his electronic declaration of income, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Kosei issued a pension in 2022.
At that time, he was 45 years old.
He had 23 years of service at the time of his retirement, so his pension was probably due to disability.
There are no such data in the declaration.
For 2023, he received a salary of UAH 1.6 million and a pension of UAH 136,000.
For 2022, he received a pension of UAH 110,000 and a salary of UAH 1.5 million.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Anatolii Kovalchuk, the prosecutor of Zakarpattia, retired at the age of 48 and will receive a pension from 2020. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council on the situation with medical and social expert commissions (MSECs) and the abuse of disability by officials, he believes that Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin should bear political responsibility for the situation in the prosecutor's offices.
Prosecutor General Kostin resigned against the background of the scandal with the prosecutors who registered disability for themselves.
